At first glance this may seem like an easy surgery, but this is actually one of the toughest breast augmentations: a very petite woman who is in very good shape and wants a large size implant. It is extremely difficult to achieve a natural look with this combination of factors, but as you can see, it is possible. She underwent a submuscular (under the muscle) breast augmentation with a 397cc (full C cup) silicone implant, and this is the download joomla 5 template result at only 6 weeks after surgery with only about 80% of the stretching complete. Over the next 6 weeks, her result will improve even more as the bottom half her breast completes it full stretch and the implants rotate down into an even more natural position.

Ahhhhh… there’s nothing like a good massage… just not too soon after breast augmentation surgery.
It’s a good idea to wait at least 6 weeks after your breast augmentation procedure to have a massage that requires you to lay on your stomach for more than a few minutes. The pressure of your bodyweight, plus the extra force that your practitioner uses during the massage, will displace your breasts to the sides and may stretch the implant capsules enough to allow the implants themselves to shift towards the sides more than you might like. Allergan Medical is introducing a new line of highly-cohesive silicone gel gummy bear breast implants to the market in June of 2015.
The Inspira® implants have been designed to fill a void between the ultra soft feel of the Natrelle implant line and the firmer feel of the teardrop shaped Style 410 line. The fill ratio of the Inspira implants is higher than the standard Natrelle devices but not as form stable as the 410’s, thereby giving the Inspira’s the middle spot in terms of cohesively and firmness.
This is an important product for the market right now because many women find themselves torn between the ultra-natural shape of the teardrop 410 implants and the ultra soft feel of the round Natrelle implants. The Inspira line should fill this gap and give women a choice of gel firmness that is somewhere in between these other two implant lines, and make the decision process a bit easier.

Many of you will remember the recent scandal brought on by French breast implant maker Poly Implant Prosthese (PIP) when the company was disbanded and the executives jailed over their unethical practices of using non-medical grade silicone to manufacture their silicone breast implants sold throughout the world.
It is estimated that 30,000-40,000 women received PIP breast implants that may have caused, or may be causing, unknown and possibly dangerous side effects because of the likely contamination of the silicone gel used in these implants. When the story broke, we received quite a few calls from understandably worried women who wanted to know how they could tell if they had PIP implants, and what they should do about it if they did. We removed quite a few pairs of these implants during that time period, and helped several of these women deal with complications like severe capsular contractors, recurrent seromas (fluid collections), and PIP breast implant ruptures, but since that time we’ve noticed a dropoff in both the frequency of these calls, and in the sense of urgency on the calls that still come in.

We take breast augmentation surgery very seriously here at MAS, and the Keller Funnel is a serious device for women interested in the safest, quickest, and least traumatic insertion technique for breast implants.
The No Touch Breast Augmentation is redefining the standard for safety and sterility with breast implant surgery of all types (breast augmentation, breast implant exchange, breast implant revision, and breast reconstruction), and in our practice we consider it to be the gold standard for all of our breast augmentation procedures. When the funnel is used properly, the implants are transferred directly from the manufacturer’s sterile container into the sterile funnel and into the breast pocket without being touched by human hands or any other possible contaminants, hence the “No Touch” designation. The funnels advanced hydrophilic coating protects the implant shell during the transfer, and allows the implant to pass through a smaller incision (which translates into a smaller scar) in a way that is far less traumatic than finger insertion (which leads to a shorter recovery time).

The recommendations for when to get back to the gym after breast augmentation surgery depend on what type of procedure you had, what type of implants you have, and in which position those implants were placed. Dropping, settling, and “fluffing”, are the most common terms used to describe the single most important phenomenon in breast augmentation surgery.
As the skin beneath the nipple stretches, it allows the breast to take on a rounder, more attractive shape, and also allows the implant to drop or settle into a more natural position. This improves the slope in the upper pole of the breast, and is the final step towards having your true “final result”. For most women, this settling process is 70-80% complete around 3-4 months after surgery, and 100% complete at 9-12 months.

Breast lift procedures can sometimes leave women frustrated with a lack of cleavage and perkiness 3-6 months after the operation.
The results can look quite good initially, but over a relatively short period of time the breasts can stretch, sag, and droop in a way that makes it difficult to create the cleavage that most women were hoping for after investing the time and money in a mastopexy procedure. Breast augmentation can be performed after breast lift surgery to restore the perkiness and cleavage in a more permanent way, and when performed by a plastic surgeon who specializes in breast implants, the procedure can be extremely satisfying with a simple recovery and no additional scarring. I tell my patients that, in my practice, breast implants follow the rule of 3’s…
The photo series you see above goes a few steps above the rule of 3’s. If you look closely, you see not a single bruise in the 24 hour photo, and by 3 weeks her implants already look amazing. She had 457cc moderate profile smooth round implants placed under the muscle using The Playmate Breast Augmentation technique to ensure that such large implants would still look natural on such a small frame.

Many women wonder how soon new breast implants start looking good, and here is a great example.
This is a 32 year old woman who had a Playmate Breast AugmentationTM with Natrelle teardrop gummy bear (Style 410, Full Height, Full Projection) 335cc breast implants, under the muscle. This is the result at only three weeks after surgery. The skin below her nipple will continue to stretch and round out over time, the implants will continue to soften, and continue to look better and better all the way to a full two years after her procedure.
Her procedure was quite difficult in that she had so little natural breast tissue to begin with, and because she was using a sizable breast implant with a great deal of projection.
