Breast Augmentation

This is a 28 year-old woman who has been self consicous for longer than she can remember about the genetic underdevelopment of her breasts, and about the noticable asymmetry of her rib cage. Her left breast is non-existent, and her right breast is larger and wider, but also nearly non-existent in terms of volume. Her left rib cage was sunken far into her chest (easily seen in her side view facing to the left). She never had any reason to wear a bra, not only because of her small breasts, but also because of the tremendous asymmetry of her rib cage.This is one of the most difficult breast augmentation cases possible, and she chose MAS for her surgery because of our extensive experience and expertise in procedures like this.

She underwent a submuscular (under the muscle) breast augmentation through an inframammary incision (in the fold) using two completely different silicone implants in an effort to improve the drastic asymmetry and correct some of the rib cage depression. On her left side, a moderate-profile 286cc silicone implant was used. On her right side a low-profile 240cc silicone implant was placed. Her result is as good as it can possibly be for having so many issues that needed to be fixed, and this is the result at 3 months after surgery. Teardrop shaped breast implants may have given her a slightly more natural result, but she chose not to use them because of their slightly firmer feel and increased cost.

The best part about this operation was her comment to us after she was healed. She said “I’m so happy I found you. I feel like a completely different person, and I’m so happy I did this.”
