This 38 year old gentleman wanted a tighter neck and a more defined jawline without major surgery, so he elected for the lipo lift for less downtime, cost and risk as compared to a true surgical facelift or neck lift. He underwent two key procedures to recontour his jaw, tighten his neck and improve his profile: 1) Neck Liposculpting with a fiberoptic laser liposuction device and specially design sculpting cannulas, and 2) jawline recontouring with an injectable filler called Radiesse. The laser liposuction procedure was not about fat removal like traditional liposuction is. It was about fat contouring and skin tightening to melt the heavy fat pad in the center of his neck, and then tighten the skin all the way across. The Radiesse injections along his chin and jawline gave him a stronger, more prominent jaw tha simply enhanced the neck result. He could have opted for a permanent chin/jaw lmplant instead of the Radiesse injections, but he chose the injections to keep te downtime to a minimum. The procedure took about an hour, and he has no visible scars. He was back to work within a few days, and his neck will continue to tighten over 6-9 months after procedure. This is an excellent procedure for younger men and women who want to tighten their necks to the way they were when they were in their 20’s without the cost, risk, scars, or downtime of a surgical neck lift, and when it’s combined with either an injectable filler or an implant for jawline recontouring, the results can be outstanding.
