Tummy Tuck

This is a 44 year old mother of two who hated the small flap of skin that constantly hung over her jeans, underwear, and gym clothes. She said “Every time I sit down I feel that overhang, and I absolutely hate it.” She tried several nonsurgical skin tightening sessions at a local medical spa, but nothing helped. She came to MAS to discuss her options, and was recommended a tummy tuck procedure to remove the excess skin, and repair her abdominal muscles to allow her stomach to flatten again. The abdominplasty procedure took about 2 hours, and this is the result two months after surgery. Her scar is low enough to be hidden beneath all but the most revealing set of underwear (we gave her this g-string in the office for the purpose of her photos so that the scar could be seen, but her own underwear hide the scar nicely). At the same time as her tummy tuck, she also had an augmentation mastopexy procedure on her breasts with a breast implant and a lift at the same time. This combination of breast and abdominal procedures is commonly referred to as a Mommy Makeover operation.
