Breast Augmentation

This is a 26 year-old woman (5’2″ 115lbs) who went from an A cup to a full C cup with 339cc moderate profile silicone implants placed under the muscle through inframammary incisions (in the fold under the breast). Her biggest concern was knowing that she couldn’t afford to take much time off work, so chose to have the Rapid Recovery technique, pioneered here at MAS.

She was back to work 4 days after surgery, and this is the result at approximately 6 weeks after the procedure. You’ll notice that she has a fairly wide space between her breasts before and after the procedure. The only way to bring the implants closer together would have been to use a larger size that was wide enough to close the gap, but a larger size implant would have been too large for her given her small frame and her goals for cup size. In addition, because her nipples face out towards her sides, moving the implants closer together would have exaggerated that look that she already didn’t like about her natural breasts. Since there is no way to move the position of the nipples on the breast, this site was the best compromise to ensure that she got the volume and push up cleavage that she wanted without going to big or adding unnecessary scars around the nipple.
