This women underwent a series of three light chemical peels designed specifically for dry, hyperpigmented skin, and two session of macrodermabrasion over the course of 3 months. The chem peels gently stripped away the superficial layers of skin where the hyperpigmented patches were set in, and the macrodermabrasion sessions speeded up that process without adding to the downtime after the peels. Each peel led to 3 days of light flaking that was easily able to be covered up with makeup so it was not necessary for her to miss work. Overall, her skin tone is much more even and less patchy, her pores are smaller and less noticable, and the dark spots are much improved.
