If I had the authority, I would crown Dr. Vendemia Boob Job King. I knew without doubt that Dr. V would be my surgeon after our consultation. If you’ve gone on as many as I have, you’ll know immediately that this is not your average plastic surgeon. What brought me into Dr. V’s office were his website and photos – consistently beautiful results despite body type, ability to use larger implants and have them still appear tasteful and natural, uses Rapid Recovery technique, Keller Funnel method. I was so excited to meet this doc. Before I even met with him, I interacted with Karin, his patient care coordinator, who has answered every question I have (there have been many!) and has been helpful throughout. She even responds to texts; who doesn’t love that? At the consultation, Dr. V met me with a firm handshake, eye contact, and our communication was clear and on the same page right off the bat. Dr. V is articulate, professional, caring, incredibly knowledgeable and well-versed in his field, and confident in his work (side note – also has great style). Dr. V was present with me, 100% attention, the entire time, and was very thorough. I was so grateful to have finally found “the one,” as I was beginning to lose hope and was getting ready to settle. Dr. V was my last consultation of many. Most doctors told me I unequivocally needed a breast lift, put words in my mouth of what I wanted, and seemed archaic in their approach and black and white in their opinions. I usually left appointments feeling pretty defeated. From the consult to the time of surgery, I was invited to come into the office as many times as I wanted to speak with Dr. V and to try on sizes (to which I did, about three times). I tend to worry a ton and over-research every little thing, and every time I visited the office, I left feeling refreshed, confident, and at ease, knowing that I was in great hands. The choice of implant, size, etc. was a continued conversation until I was certain. The day of surgery was a breeze. I was in and out a few short hours. The staff and anesthesiologist/nurses were awesome, and I received personal phone calls before and after surgery to check in on how I was doing. I am now only a week and some days post-op, and aside from some minimal discomfort, I am feeling great. I wasn’t on any narcotic pain meds and was able to raise my arms above my head the day after surgery. I now have full range of motion, was cleared to slowly get back to the gym, and have full energy. I am absolutely thrilled with my result. I cried the first time I saw myself at home. This has been a rollercoaster ride of a journey. And I am still in disbelief that I finally did it and that my expectations have been surpassed. Can’t say enough good things about Dr. V and his office. If you are in NYC and are thinking about breast augmentation, look no further.
