This is a 31 year-old woman who wanted a smaller, more defined, and more feminine tip. The answer to this question is no, it is almost always a mistake to change only the tip of the nose. The nose is a very three dimensional structure, which is why rhinoplasty surgery is so difficult. Because the nose is so three dimensional, it is often necessary to make small adjustments to each part of the nose (the tip, the bridge, and the nostrils) in order to achieve the most natural result. Because the tip of her nose was reshaped to be smaller and prettier, it was also necessary to narrow her bridge just a touch so that the overall appearance of nose remained balanced and natural. This is her result at only 10 days after surgery. She had almost no bruising, and was back to work just 4 days after the procedure. Her whole face looks prettier, more feminine, and more mature, even her eyes look bigger and brighter.
